An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

From June 22, 2026, trading in investment units on the Moscow Exchange stock market will be conducted in the T+ main trading mode (T+1 order book) — the same technological board as stocks. The unification of trading modes will simplify access to equity instruments of the stock market, primarily for algorithmic and high-frequency traders, as well as prop-trading companies.

The innovation will allow banks and brokers to optimize the client journey and unify access to all equity instruments in a single regime, which will potentially reduce the costs of administering brokerage systems. Simplifying access for algorithmic clients to the segment of mutual investment funds will have a positive impact on the liquidity of the collective investment market.

The unification of trading modes will also expand the possibilities for concluding transactions with PIF units – investors will have the opportunity to place iceberg orders. The mechanism for processing such orders for units will be fully analogous to the currently operating rules for the stock market.

Detailed information on the unification of trading modes and new names of the stock market boardsposted on the Moscow Exchange website.

Starting from April 25, 2026, PIE shares will be available in the main trading mode T+on the test outline of the stock market.

Moscow Exchange is the largest Russian exchange, the only multifunctional trading platform in Russia for stocks, bonds, derivatives, currency, money market instruments and commodities. The basic assets of the funds are indices, stocks, bonds, gold, money market instruments and commodity assets.
