Kyiv, June 16 /Syn•hua/ — On Tuesday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G7 Summit, held in the French city of Évian-les-Bains, discussed priority areas of defense cooperation in a separate meeting with US President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. This was reported by the news agency Interfax-Ukraine.

At a meeting with the head of the White House, V. Zelensky, among other things, raised the issue of obtaining licenses for the production of anti-ballistic systems and missiles, the need for which in Ukraine currently significantly exceeds the production capabilities of the USA.

In the course of negotiations between V. Zelensky and F. Mercier, the topic of further strengthening Ukraine’s air defense system was discussed. –0–
