Beijing, June 16 /Xinhua/ — A member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Wan Xueyin met on Tuesday in Beijing with Nepal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal.
Van Hunin stated that China is ready to cooperate with Nepal under the strategic leadership of the leaders of both countries, to maintain exchanges at a high level, strengthen political mutual trust, and deepen practical cooperation.
China hopes for the continuous development of China-Nepal relations for the benefit of the peoples of both countries, and the CPC Central Committee is ready to make a positive contribution in this direction, he said.
Noting that the Nepal-China friendship is based on five principles of peaceful coexistence, Sh. Khanal said that Nepal firmly adheres to the one China principle and will never allow any force to use Nepal’s territory for anti-China activities.
Sh. Khanal added that Nepal hopes for expanded cooperation with China and the possibility to share the fruits of development and prosperity.
