In Moscow, the premiere of the multimedia program “Code of Russia” took place, combining digital art, 3D graphics, and kinetic engineering. The project presentation in the famous “Zaryadye” park was timed to coincide with the national holiday — Russia Day. The show venue became an interactive installation “Matryoshka of Moscow,” demonstrating to the international community the advanced capabilities of the capital’s IT industry in the design of modern public spaces.
Screenings in the Zaryadye Park will be extended until July 5 inclusive, from Tuesday to Sunday at 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM (on Saturdays — additionally at 10:00 PM). Entrance is free.
“The ‘Code of Russia’ program in the language of digital art tells about the rich heritage of the country,” noted Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maksim Liksutov. “Following the task of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we are actively implementing innovations into the urban environment. This project transforms visits to the park into a unique technological experience for Muscovites and foreign guests.”
Key features of the project.
Kinetic engineering.The structure of the art object consists of 1,500 independent media screen-hundreds. Thanks to the automated drives, the installation dynamically changes its shape, recreating the most complex natural textures: from arctic ice crystals to volcanic rocks and stormy river flows.
Digital visualization.Capital artists have created 30 unique three-dimensional scenes. With the help of vivid associative images, they reveal the diversity of nature, traditional ornaments of peoples, cultural values, and key achievements of science.
Spatial culmination.At the end of the program, the installation transforms into a gigantic 22-meter digital flag of Russia, which is projected both as a static image and as a dynamically extended part of the structure.
