At the Tutayev Motor Plant, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in the Yaroslavl region, a meeting was held of the leaders and chief specialists of PJSC “TMZ” and the Petersburg Tractor Plant on the issues of cooperation in the production of “Kirovets” tractors with promising TMZ V8 and R6 engines.
Great attention was paid to activities aimed at improving product quality, as well as to the new series of TMZ 8801.10 engines with Common Rail fuel equipment with a power of up to 465 hp, and to the new product of the Tutaev Motor Plant – R6 engines. Engines of the new series are already undergoing pilot operation as part of Kirovets tractors in various regions of the country and are operating almost without any remarks.
In June, 26 TMZ 8801.10 engines and 25 R6 engines are planned to be installed on the conveyor belt of JSC “PTZ”. The preparation of the assembly and testing section for the R6 is nearing completion, and in June the section will begin operation.
With the aim of providing technical support for new engines in tractors operating in various regions of Russia, training is organized at TMZ for service center specialists in methods of technical maintenance, diagnostics, and, if necessary, repair of R6 engines. Theoretical and practical classes are planned to be conducted, and currently, a material and technical training base is being prepared.
To improve its products, PJSC “TMZ” plans to send specialists to the regions where “Kirovets” machinery is operated, with the aim of collecting information on consumer preferences, participating in specialized agro-industrial events, and organizing TMZ Client Days to strengthen partnership relations with consumers.
Participants of the meeting discussed the conditions for expanding the line of engines with a power of up to 465 hp with modern Common Rail fuel equipment (“Progress”) and the introduction to the secondary market of a new series of engines with a power of up to 465 hp (“Etalon”), having improved consumer properties and maximally unified with the 8481.10 engines.
