“RN-Vankor” (which operates the oil and gas production complex of NK “Rosneft”) achieved an effect of more than 55 million kWh in 2025 from the implementation of energy saving program measures.
Such a result was achieved through the introduction of new technologies, the application of highly efficient equipment, and the optimization of operating modes of surface and deep-pump units. In total, about 700 events were implemented in the “Mechanized Production” direction in 2025. Equipping oil production wells with pumps with increased efficiency in combination with low-load electric motors and optimally sized cables made it possible to achieve an energy-saving effect of 31 million kWh.
The translation of separators of the preliminary water-juice discharge installation of the Vankor field into the cold discharge mode with reduced load on the heating equipment allowed saving about 7 thousand tons of conditional fuel.
An effective energy management system, rational use of energy resources, and reduction of energy consumption allow “RN-Vankor” to take first place for the fifth consecutive time in the energy efficiency rating among oil and gas production enterprises of “Rosneft”. The energy resource management system of “RN-Vankor” is certified according to the national standard GOST R ISO 50001:2023.
Improving the energy efficiency of technological processes and implementing high-tech solutions are an integral part of RN-Vankor’s production activities since the beginning of the development of the Vankor field in the north of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The effect of the energy-saving program, implemented by the enterprise since 2014, exceeded 692 million kWh of electricity, which in monetary terms amounts to 1.77 billion rubles.
