“KAMAZ” is participating in the exhibition of achievements “Made in Tatarstan,” which is taking place these days in Kazan as part of the “Russia – ASEAN” summit. At the company’s booth, flagship models of the newest generation K5 are presented.

The company presented the flagship at the outdoor exhibitionKamAZ-54901 (4×2) highway tractor in the Hi-tech version. Among the advantages of this model are the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, and emergency braking system. In addition, electronic braking systems (EBS) and electronic stability programs (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), hill start assist (HSA), and anti-slip regulation (ASR) systems are provided. Together, these technologies ensure the highest level of road safety, minimizing risks associated with the human factor.The modern ergonomic cabin is equipped with two sleeping places, a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, and a voice assistant, all indispensable for long trips on federal highways. The new version of the KAMAZ-54901 vehicle exterior is complemented by fairings installed on the cabin and chassis, which improve aerodynamics and allow for fuel savings from 5 to 10%. The KAMAZ-54901 Hi-Tech version is equipped with a new economical six-cylinder inline KAMAZ engine with a power of 560 hp.(In the basic version of the KAMAZ-54901, an engine with a power of 483 hp is installed) and a 12-speed automated transmission with a brake retarder (retarder).

Also presented at the company’s booth was an all-wheel driveKAMAZ-65954 6×6 tractor truck. The vehicle is equipped with a KAMAZ R6 engine with a power of 560 hp and a mechanical 16-speed transmission. The modern spacious cabin with a sleeping berth provides an increased level of comfort for the driver’s work and rest. The curb weight is 12.6 tons, the total weight of the road train is 100 tons. This model was launched into serial production in 2025 and is designed for operation both on roads with hard surfaces and in conditions requiring high cross-country capability.

In addition, here is demonstrated another representative of the K5 generation all-wheel-drive vehicles –self-propelled KAMAZ-65959 (6×6). The vehicle is designed for transporting bulk construction, industrial, and household goods. A feature of the latest generation KAMAZ K5 dump truck is the reinforced frame and drive axles. This has ensured the vehicle has a high load capacity—up to 18 tons. The vehicle is equipped with a dump body with a volume of 16 m³. The platform has heating with exhaust gases. The updated cabin on a four-point spring suspension provides increased comfort for the driver. A multimedia system with a 10-inch diagonal touchscreen display is installed. The dump truck is equipped with a modern, economical KAMAZ R6 engine with a power of 483 hp.and manual 16-speed gearbox.

All the presented products are manufactured on a sanction-resistant component base. The highly technological KAMAZ automobiles of the newest generation K5 are fully adapted to heavy road conditions and high operational loads, which makes them relevant for the markets of the countries of Southeast Asia.
