On June 11, at the Shanghai Museum on the People’s Square, there was an unboxing of four exhibits from Mexico and Peru: Monument No. 52 from San Lorenzo, Monument No. 1 from Las Limas, a ceramic vessel with an image of the rain god Tlaloc, as well as a golden headdress from Peru. About 3000 exquisite artifacts, including these four items, will be presented at the exhibition “The Summit of the World Tree: Great Civilizations of Ancient America” at the Shanghai Museum from July 9, 2026, to November 14, 2027.
