The analytical laboratory of “Chelnyvodokanal”, a subsidiary of “KAMA”, was recognized as one of the best in Russia. The division was among the top five leaders based on the results of the first stage of the qualification program “ROSA 2026” of the “Measurement Accuracy” competition.
High professionalism of the staff and modern technical equipment allowed the laboratory to demonstrate the highest measurement accuracy at the federal competition. This serious achievement proves the level of work in controlling environmental objects in the field of wastewater disposal.
The laboratory is accredited in the national accreditation system (Rosaccertification) in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 416-FZ “On Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal.” One of the mandatory conditions for accreditation is participation in the qualification testing program – interlaboratory comparative tests (ICI). The analytical laboratory of “Chelnyvvodokanal” has been participating for many years and consistently demonstrates high results. Participation in the first quarter of 2026 was no exception.
The analytical laboratory team monitors natural, wastewater, and treated waters, sediment from wastewater, as well as soil. Water is analyzed using modern equipment for 42 physico-chemical and three toxicological indicators; sediment and soil are analyzed for 15 indicators. In addition, the department controls the wastewater of subscriber enterprises in the city. Specialists study about 40 samples monthly.
