Seoul, June 12 /Xinhua/ — Lawyers of the former president of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Seok-yeol, on Friday filed an appeal against the verdict of the court of first instance in the case of high treason. This was reported by the Renhap news agency.
Earlier on Friday, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Yoon Seok-yeol to 30 years in prison for treason related to the infiltration of drones into the DPRK.
