In recent years, the Daczu district in the city of Chongqing, following the principle of ecological priorities, has carried out a systematic restoration of the Lunshui Lake ecosystem. Enterprises polluting the environment were shut down, coastal vegetation was restored, and the rivers flowing into the lake were cleaned. As a result, the water quality in Lunshui Lake is steadily improving, the forest coverage level has exceeded 91%, and the populations of various waterfowl species have been increasing year by year.
