In May 2026, the average daily volume of payments made through the Bank of Russia increased by 3.3% compared to the level of the first quarter of 2026. The growth in receipts is mainly associated with industries oriented towards exports.
The reduction in payments was noted in the investment and government demand sectors. Excluding the extraction sector, production of petroleum products, and government administration, revenues decreased by 1.9%.
