Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, in an address to the heads of education and youth policy sectors of the Russian regions, noted that they are implementing the most large-scale project from the perspective of audience and effect of the national project “Youth and Children.” He congratulated the participants of the third module of the program “Leader in the Sphere of Education: Tools for Effective Management,” as well as the first module of the program “Conductors of Meaning. School of Youth Policy.” Both events were held at the Presidential Academy (RANEPA).

The goal of the program “Leader in the field of education: tools for effective management” is to improve the efficiency of the activities of the regional education system, develop managerial competencies and implement modern management tools.

“You are probably implementing the largest national project in terms of audience and impact, ‘Youth and Children.’ Here, all possible events are gathered, which should ensure the fulfillment of tasks to reveal the potentials and talents, education and upbringing of young people. It is necessary to be well oriented toward the national goals enshrined in the decree of our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The responsibility for our children’s upbringing is colossal,” addressed the vice-premier to the participants.

Dmitry Chernyshenko advised education sector leaders to constantly move forward, adjust processes, optimize and improve them. Also, to actively use dashboards, monitoring systems, and data analysis.

The program includes four full-time educational modules. The third module is devoted to the study of general education issues, the development of SPO and the training of personnel for the economy, educational policy, and others.

Among the listeners of the program are 118 people from 65 regions of Russia. They represent regional authorities responsible for education issues, institutes for the development of education and advanced training, as well as the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Sport of Russia.

In welcoming the participants of the first module of the training program “Guides of Meaning. Youth Policy School,” Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized that the main purpose is communication, the possibility of conveying important information. They are “carriers not only of meaning but also of values and must themselves correspond to them.”

A special priority of the Government is the creation of transparent, verifiable, and precise tools for assessing the effectiveness of youth policy. Currently, the collection and systematization of all current indicators is underway.

Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the “Region for Youth” program has proven its effectiveness over four years. During this time, 263 youth centers have been modernized.

“The main achievement over the past four days is that you have united. You can exchange, share experiences, communicate as one team. We will help systematize this work,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Dmitry Chernyshenko drew attention to the contest “Region of Good Deeds.” He contributes to achieving the goal designated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin — involving 45% of youth in volunteer activities.

The Deputy Prime Minister called on the regions to participate in the competition for the status of the youth capital of Russia.

Key priorities – working with veterans of the special military operation, children and teenagers in social risk groups, supporting youth, in particular student families, as well as organizing an international youth festival and its regional program.

Participants of the first module of the program “Guides of Meaning. School of Youth Policy” numbered 330 people from all over Russia. Among them were youth policy ministers, heads of specialized institutions, and regional branches of the “Movement of the First.”
