The committee analyzed the current situation in the oil market and emphasized the crucial role of the Declaration on Cooperation in maintaining the stability of global energy markets, particularly highlighting the critical importance of protecting international maritime routes to ensure uninterrupted energy supply.

The Committee also expressed concern about attacks on energy infrastructure, noting that restoring damaged energy facilities to full capacity requires significant costs and time, which affects the overall availability of supplies. The Committee emphasized that any actions undermining the security of energy supply, including attacks on infrastructure or disruption of international sea routes, increase market volatility and weaken collective efforts under the Declaration on Cooperation to support market stability in the interests of producers, consumers, and the global economy.

The committee highly appreciated the initiative of the countries participating in the Declaration on cooperation to ensure the continuity of supplies, including through the use of alternative export routes, which contributes to reducing market volatility.

The committee will continue to closely monitor the situation in the market and retains the right to convene additional meetings or request the holding of a ministerial meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries, as was established at the 38th meeting held on December 5, 2024.

The next 66th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee is scheduled for June 7, 2026.
