Today, June 11, the General Director of PJSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Administration of Russia in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. On behalf of PJSC “KAMAZ”, the head of the company presented the Internal Affairs Administration of Naberezhnye Chelny with a certificate of completion for the capital repair of the shooting range complex.
Among the honorable guests of the anniversary event were the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Police Lieutenant General Damir Satretdinov, Head of the RT Apparatus, Police Lieutenant General Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasily Shayraziev, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, heads of law enforcement agencies and veterans of the Department.
The prologue to the event was a nine-minute film about the history of the division. On May 7, 1976, by order of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, a decision was made to create the Internal Affairs Directorate for the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in the Republic of Tatarstan. And already on May 20, 1976, after the signing of the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TASSR, the organizational formalization took place: the staff was approved and departments of internal affairs for the Avtozavodsky, Komsomolsky, and Tukaevsky districts were formed. This date became the starting point of the modern history of the Naberezhnye Chelny police. The Chelny garrison is the second in terms of size and importance in the Republic of Tatarstan and is rich in its traditions.
Congratulating those gathered on the unit’s anniversary, Damir Satretdinov, Asgat Safarov, and Vasily Shayraziev held an award ceremony. A total of 18 people were honored with state and republican awards. The General Director of PJSC “KAMAZ,” Sergey Kogogin, was awarded the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia badge “For Assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”
According to tradition, many kind words and wishes were addressed to the guilty parties of the celebration. On behalf of PJSC “KAMAZ,” a certificate of completion of the major overhaul of the shooting range complex was handed over to the Internal Affairs Directorate of Naberezhnye Chelny. The certificate was presented to the head of the Directorate, Police Colonel Ayrat Khanbikov, by the head of the company, Sergey Kogogin.
According to tradition, on this memorable day, the leaders also honored the memory of colleagues who gave their lives defending law and order. Before the solemn meeting organized in the assembly hall of the Department, flowers were laid at the monument to employees who died in the line of duty, and at the bas-relief of the first head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department of Russia in Naberezhnye Chelny, Vladimir Haustov.
