You can apply for an electronic permit to visit nature reserves, national parks, and wildlife sanctuaries using the “Visiting specially protected natural areas” lifetime situation. The service also allows you to obtain a digital permit for entry of personal transport into the reserve, familiarize yourself with unique routes, and purchase discounted permits. The lifetime situation is launched and developed within the framework of the federal project “Government for the People,” which is supervised by the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Head of the Government Office Dmitry Grigorenko.
“The digital service for planning trips to protected areas makes traveling across Russia more convenient and accessible. It allows you to apply online for permission to visit specially protected natural territories, reduce trip preparation time, and improve the comfort of tourists. At the same time, digital tools help effectively manage tourist flows and preserve unique natural complexes.”Today, electronic permits for visiting 36 reserves and national parks of federal significance are available through the service, and by the end of the year, their number is planned to be increased to 60,” said Dmitry Grigorenko.
In especially protected natural areas, rare species of animals and plants are found. When visiting such areas, it is necessary to observe the rules. You can also familiarize yourself with these rules on the service page.
Protected areas within the service are divided into two categories: for active recreation – “Pulse of Nature” and for quiet relaxation – “World of Silence.” Filters help in searching for the desired tourist destination. For example, you can find a reserve or national park in a specific district or region. You can use an interactive map for the search.
Among the especially protected natural territories available within the service are the Altai Reserve and the Kenozersky National Park, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Also included is the Buzuluksky Bor National Park, known as the largest relict pine forest massif among the steppes of Russia, and the Kivach Reserve in the Republic of Karelia, where one of Europe’s largest flat waterfalls is located.
Life situations are a new stage in the development of the public services delivery system. One service combines on average about 17 government services related by a single theme, and helps to receive them comprehensively, in a “one-stop shop” mode. Such integration of public services helps to reduce the time for solving a person’s tasks, as well as eliminates excessive document collection and visits to agencies.
