Tbilisi, June 10 /Xinhua/ — The strategic partnership between Georgia and China brings concrete benefits to both countries and is an example of cooperation based on mutual respect, justice, dignity, and mutual benefit. This was stated on Wednesday by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to journalists.

As he noted, after the strategic partnership agreement was signed three years ago, the parties concluded 14 important international agreements and another six are in the final stage of approval.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Chinese side considers Georgia as an equal partner, which, according to him, deserves the highest evaluation.

On June 9, China and Georgia announced an increase in the level of bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The corresponding decision was made on the day of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. –0–
