Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin held a working meeting with the Acting Governor of the Bryansk Region, Egor Kovalchuk, during which the parties discussed issues of the socio-economic development of the region.

“Bryansk Oblast is a border region, and the situation there is not simple. It is important for the team to respond quickly to people’s requests and work as smoothly as possible. At the same time, the region shows a positive dynamic in several directions. Housing commissioning as of May 1 amounted to 194 thousand square meters — 25.7% more than last year. There is particularly good growth in multi-apartment buildings: plus 61.9%. The main road network is in normative condition — almost 90%. Six sites have been identified for the comprehensive development of territories, and work has already begun on five projects. In addition, a separate competition for improvement projects has started for reunited and border regions, including Bryansk Oblast.”Despite the challenging situation, people should have comfortable places for rest, sports, and leisure. I hope that under the leadership of Egor Viktorovich, the Bryansk region will continue to develop,” Marat Khusnullin noted.

During the meeting, issues of communal infrastructure, the restoration of the rights of citizens participating in shared construction, and plans for the reconstruction of the Liteyny Bridge across the Desna River in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk were discussed in detail.
