In the first week of operation of the renovated Leningradsky railway station during the SPIEF period, more than 248 thousand passengers passed through the terminal. During peak hours, the intensity of arrivals and departures was 22% higher than the usual norm. To ensure attention to every guest, the station management increased the staff by 50%.

Employees implemented a number of key measures for navigation in the updated space:

— Met forum participants, helping to quickly get oriented in the new hall.

— Regularly consulted passengers at the information desk, helping to find the necessary train, platform, service, or route.

— Tracked the flow movement in real time, enhancing the most in-demand sections.

Special attention was given to the opening of a new vestibule at the “Komsomolskaya” metro station on the mezzanine level. Now passengers arriving on long-distance trains can transfer to the metro in 2 minutes, without going outside.

Leningrad station accepted such high passenger traffic for the first time after modernization. Modern infrastructure and a well-coordinated team allowed for fast and comfortable movement during peak hours. This result confirms: the most technologically advanced railway station in the country is ready for growth in transportation and federal-scale events.
