Manila, April 5 /Xin Hua/ — On Saturday, on a highway in the south of the Philippines, a collision occurred between a small truck and a minibus, resulting in the deaths of four people, including a three-year-old boy. At least 29 people were injured. This was reported by the local police on Sunday.

According to her data, the road traffic accident occurred around 15:00 local time in the city of Aleosan, Cotabato province, when a truck moving along a sloped section of the road attempted to overtake a slow-moving motorcycle. As seen in the surveillance camera footage, the truck then crashed into a safety island and overturned. It flew into the oncoming lane and collided with an approaching minibus.

As the police stated, passengers were riding inside the vehicles. Four of them, including a three-year-old boy, died after arriving at the nearby hospital.
