The new overpass on the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow railway will connect Malygin Street and Malyginsky Drive. Sergey Sobyanin spoke about the implementation of the project on his channel in“Max” messenger.

“Specialists have already begun constructing a retaining wall on the side of Malyginsky Passage. In total, there will be 14 supports under the overpass — two at the ends and 12 intermediate,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

As part of the project, they will build and reconstruct almost six kilometers of roads, create new parking spaces, arrange bicycle lanes, and put the adjacent territory in order.

As a result, the load on Eniseiskaya Street will decrease by 14 percent, and on the northern part of the MKAD — by six percent. Transport accessibility will also improve in the Losinoostrovsky, Severnoe Medvedkovo, Babushkinsky, and Yaroslavsky districts.

In addition, the overpass will allow adjustment of existing city transport routes. This will reduce the time for interdistrict trips on average by 7–10 minutes.

Completion of work is planned for 2028.

The formation of the capital’s road framework is one of the main priorities of urban development. It corresponds to the goals and initiatives of the national project.“Infrastructure for Life”.
