From June 8, 2026, the Bank of Russia will calculate the official euro to ruble exchange rate based on the US dollar to ruble exchange rate and the euro to US dollar exchange rate of the European Central Bank as of 15:30 MSK on the current working day.
This change is associated with low turnover in the ruble/euro currency pair on the domestic currency market, which reduces the representativeness of the daily direct calculation of the euro to ruble exchange rate based on actual conversion operations.
The USD to RUB exchange rate continues to be calculated based on the reporting data of credit organizations on the results of concluded interbank conversion operations in the over-the-counter currency market.
The Bank of Russia publishes official exchange rates on its website usually until 18:00 MSK.
