Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev held a series of bilateral meetings within the framework of the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev discussed cooperation in the agro-industrial complex and ecology with Dmitry Patrushev. The turnover of agricultural products between the two countries is steadily growing. Last year, the indicator increased by almost a quarter; the positive trade dynamics are expected to continue in 2026.

In conclusion of the meeting, Dmitry Patrushev emphasized that Russia and Uzbekistan have great potential for further development of cooperation in various areas.

At the meeting with the Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia Nenad Popović, Dmitry Patrushev noted that the countries are united by a longstanding friendship, cultural and historical closeness of the peoples. Close partnership relations extend even despite complex political conditions and external pressure.

About a quarter of the trade turnover between Russia and Serbia consists of agricultural products. Russia, in turn, is ready to increase shipments of meat and dairy products, confectionery goods, and other products, and, in addition, may increase supplies of mineral fertilizers. The meeting also discussed cooperation in the field of winemaking and viticulture.
