Alexander Doronin, a lecturer of the course “Product Management” at the Economics Faculty of NGU, as well as a first-year master’s student of the program “Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Business Analytics”Stepan Yurovparticipated in the technical conference on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics AHA’26, held in Moscow.

AHA is one of the leading Russian platforms for exchanging experience in the field of applied AI and data. The conference gathers practicing specialists: data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and product managers from the country’s largest technological and financial companies. As part of the event, participants not only get acquainted with current market trends but also gain access to real cases, which are often unavailable in open sources.

The conference left a positive impression — it was interesting to hear firsthand experience from practicing specialists. The reports on how to evaluate effects in situations where a classic A/B test is impossible were especially memorable. I liked the report about neural network layers — after it, it becomes clear how to assemble such services yourself and how to use them correctly. If possible, I would attend a similar conference again. Among the topics that I would like to hear more about are sections on agents and their implementation in companies., — shared impressionsStepan Yurov.

AHA is held annually. The organizers of the conference also hold another large industry event — Matemarketing, aimed at analysts, performance marketers, and product managers. The next Matemarketing’26 conference will take place on November 26–27, 2026.

NGU graduate students have the opportunity to attend both conferences for free — subject to passing the competitive selection. You can keep track of the start of the selection processon the website

Participation in such a conference is a unique opportunity not to be missed. Live communication with market practitioners provides what you won’t find in any textbook: up-to-date tools, an honest view of the industry, and contacts that can open new professional horizons. I highly recommend students take advantage of this opportunity., — commentedAlexander Doronin.
