On June 4, 2026, at the age of 80, Georgiy Kleiner passed away, Head of the Department of Institutional Economics at GUE, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Head of the scientific direction “Mesoeconomics, microeconomics, corporate economics” of the CEMI RAS, founder and president of the “Systemic Economics” Association, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.
Georgy Borisovich has been an integral part of the scientific community of the State University of Management and the entire country for many years, making an invaluable contribution to the development of domestic economic science and education.
Until his last day, Georgy Kleiner led an active scientific and academic life. On May 30, at the plenary session of the VIII Moscow Academic Economic Forum at GUU, the scientist spoke about his work on the multipolar theory of economic management and a new concept of socio-economic systems.
The memory of Georgy Borisovich will forever remain in the history of GII, in the hearts of his students, colleagues, and everyone who knew this outstanding person.
