The introduction of the under-construction Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line is planned in stages this and next year. 10 stations will be opened — from “Delovoy Tsentr” to “Novorizhskaya,” thanks to which a direct connection will appear between the business center “Moscow-City” and the actively developing cluster in Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye. The Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line is already half built, with the first section almost 90 percent ready.It includes three new stations — “Zvenigorodskaya”, “Narodnoe Opolchenie” and “Boulevard General Karbyshev”, as well as previously operating stations on the Large Circle Line “Delovoy Tsentr” and “Shelepikha”, — noted Vladimir Efimov.

Currently, on three stations of the first section, finishing architectural and finishing works, installation and commissioning of engineering systems are underway, and on five stations — from “Serebryany Bor” to “Novorizhskaya” — the construction of main structures is in progress.

The total length of the Rublyovo–Arkhangelskaya line will exceed 27 kilometers. It will include 12 stations: “Delovoy Tsentr,” “Shelepikha,” “Zvenigorodskaya,” “Narodnoe Opolchenie,” “General Karbyshev Boulevard,” “Serebryany Bor,” “Strogino,” “Lipovaya Roscha,” “Rublyovo–Arkhangelskoye,” “Novorizhskaya,” “Krasnogorskaya,” and “Izumrudnye Kolmy.” The line will provide transfers to the Moscow Central Circle, Solntsevskaya, Filevskaya, Arbatsko–Pokrovskaya, and Bolshaya Koltsevaya metro lines.

The general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow metro is JSC “Mosinzhproekt.” Since 2011, with the participation of this holding, 84 metro stations have been built and reconstructed, over 180 kilometers of lines, and 14 electric depots.
