On June 11, there will be a literary-jazz performance by the St. Petersburg “Vertumn” theater “Brodsky. Pilgrim.” It combines letters and excerpts from the poet’s interviews with the music of composer Yuri Bedrak, written especially for this production.

The creative union of the “Theatrical Boulevard” and the Moscow Jazz Festival is founded on a deep historical tradition. The first jazz concert in Russia took place on October 1, 1922 in the large hall of the State Institute of Theatrical Arts, and the creator of the first jazz theater in the USSR, the legendary Leonid Utyosov, said: “I bring jazz from the theater, and I bring theater into jazz.”

“Summer in Moscow” — the main event of the season, which has already become a good tradition and an integral part of the capital’s life. The main theme of this year is “Time to Be Together.” The project unites people of different generations around common values, allowing them to become closer not only with their relatives but also with the whole city on walks, cultural and sports events, charity actions, and also right next to their homes throughout the districts of the capital.

The holding of the “Theatrical Boulevard” promotes the achievement of the goals and objectives of the national project in Moscow“Family”. More details about the national project of Russia and the contribution of the capital can be found atspecial page.
