On June 6, the municipal stage of the third All-Russian Family Festival of Savings and Investments will take place in Moscow. The event will be held at the premises of four capital libraries. Family teams will be able to test their knowledge, learn about various ways of investing and saving money, as well as master skills in competent saving.
“Financial literacy begins in the family. It is here that the first financial habits are laid, a responsible attitude towards personal and family budgets, savings, and investments is formed. The festival is an excellent opportunity for parents and children not only to test themselves and their knowledge but also to learn something new together in an accessible game format. Such an approach helps to improve the financial culture of Muscovites, make family budget management more understandable, and its planning a familiar and even engaging form of joint leisure,” she said

For each family, three challenges were prepared within the framework of competitions. In the financial quiz “Save early and multiply,” teams tested their erudition and ability to quickly make competent decisions in everyday financial matters. The case game “Risks and Protection” is dedicated to analyzing real situations: families will learn to take into account possible threats to the budget and protect savings. In the investment workshop, they will explain how to determine the risk level of various financial instruments.
In addition, there will be an interactive fintech test at the festival. It will help check knowledge and skills in the financial field. Based on the results, each participant will receive personalized recommendations.
The municipal stage of the festival will take place on June 6 from 12:30 to 14:30. Family teams of two — four people are invited to participate. Preliminary registration is required. The townspeople are waiting at four venues:
— inLibrary-reading room named after I.S. Turgenev(Bobrov Lane, building 6, structures 1, 2);
—Library No. 76 named after M.Yu. Lermontov(Barbolina Street, house 6);
—House of N.V. GogolAt the memorial museum and scientific library (Nikita Boulevard, house 7a);
—Central Universal Scientific Library named after N.A. Nekrasov(Baumanskaya Street, house 58/25, building 14).
Winners of the municipal stage will have the opportunity to perform in the next qualifying round and compete for the title of the most financially literate family. The regional stage of the festival will be held in the capital on June 20 as part of Financial Literacy Day, and in September, the best families from all regions of the country will compete in the final.

The festival partners were the Scientific Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the National Association of Non-State Pension Funds, the All-Russian Union of Insurers, and the Deposit Insurance Agency.
