Specialists have completed the reconstruction of the sports hall for the Perm State Humanitarian-Pedagogical University. Permission has been obtained to put the facility into operation. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
In Perm, reconstruction of the gym for students of the humanities and pedagogical university has been completed. The total area of the building has been increased to 1.8 thousand square meters, additional functional rooms have appeared, and more comfortable conditions for sports activities have been created. Soon, the gym will open its doors for students – it will become a full-fledged venue for classes, training, and competitions. The construction and reconstruction of such facilities is an important part of the comprehensive modernization of the country’s educational infrastructure.These spaces create a modern and comfortable environment for students, promote a healthy lifestyle, and help young people to fully reveal their talents: both in studies and in sports. The work is carried out under the control of the company “Unified Customer in the Field of Construction,” said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
The building is equipped with a large multipurpose hall for training in volleyball, basketball, and general physical preparation, as well as a modern gym. In addition, there are coach rooms, changing rooms, showers, medical service rooms, and others.
“As of now, all the necessary sports and technological equipment has already been delivered to the site. Specialists from the contracting organization are completing its installation and setup. The landscaping of the adjacent territory has also been fully carried out: pedestrian zones, access roads, outdoor lighting, and landscaping elements have been arranged,” noted Karen Oganesyan, General Director of PPK “Unified Customer.”
The gym of the Perm State Humanitarian-Pedagogical University is located on the territory of a regional cultural heritage site of the city of Perm – the landmark “Gubernskiy Center.”
