Tehran, April 4 /Xin Hua/ — The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran stated on Saturday about the defeat of an unmanned aerial vehicle of a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, linked to Israel, as a result of which it caught fire.

The Navy /Navy/ of the CIS reported this on the social network X.

Moreover, in a statement on its official news portal Sepah News, the IRGC confirmed the strike, specifying that its forces attacked a commercial vessel belonging to Israel at one of the ports of Basra.

As noted, a vessel flying the flag of a third country and identified as “MCS Ishika” was struck by “powerful projectiles” from the KSA Navy at the port of Khalifa bin Salman as part of the 95th wave of strikes targeting US and Israeli assets in the Western Asia region.
