On June 6, a musical on roller skates will be shown in the 850th Anniversary of Moscow Park“Around the World in One Summer”. The speech will take place within the framework of the project“Summer in Moscow”. After the event, everyone who wishes will be able to try their hand and skate under the guidance of the performers.
The plot of the musical is constructed in the form of a journey through countries and continents: viewers visit Africa, Spain, France, Brazil, India. Each point of the world is dedicated to a separate number in the video. Special costumes, music, and dance genres characteristic of each region will be used to convey the atmosphere of celebration: samba, flamenco, pasodoble, and others. The culmination will be a combined performance where the styles of all countries mix.
Guests will see solo numbers with complex technical elements, paired performances with lifts and spins, as well as group choreographic numbers with cheerleading elements.
After the presentation, a master class will be held for the viewers. Everyone interested will be taught the basics of roller skating: correct stance, performing turns, and simple combinations. You will need your own sports equipment. It is recommended that children use protection—knee pads and elbow pads.
The event starts at 18:00. Entrance is free, without age restrictions, no prior registration is required.
The 850th Anniversary of Moscow Park will become the main district venue of the “Summer in Moscow” project in the South-Eastern Administrative District. Various events for children and adults will also be organized in other districts: more than three thousand historical reenactments, performances, master classes, sports activities, musical and culinary competitions, and folk games are planned in total.
