The government has established criteria for applying reduced industry contributions for accredited IT companies with state participation. The decree on this has been signed. The adopted decision is aimed at stimulating investments in the creation and development of Russian software products in segments where state companies from the IT sector are widely represented.

Now, those who obtain government accreditation and use reduced insurance contributions at the level of 15% (7.6% above the unified maximum base amount) can include market participants holding a direct or indirect government participation share of at least 50%. Employees of the specified companies will also be able to claim targeted support measures for IT specialists. At the same time, companies must meet one of the following criteria:

— to develop software for government information systems;

— to create software, databases, or hardware-software systems as part of the implementation of especially significant IT projects;

— are rights holders of the program included in the list of domestic software for mandatory installation;

— to develop software or hardware-software complexes for significant objects of critical information infrastructure of Russia.

Amendments to the Government Resolution No. 1729 of September 30, 2022, have been made by the signed decree.
