Accra, June 2 /Sinhua/ — At least 15 people died, and another 25 sustained serious injuries in Gane in the early hours of Tuesday due to a head-on collision of two vehicles in the Volta region. This information was confirmed by officials.
The National Fire Service of Ghana reported on its official social media page that an accident involving a truck and a passenger bus occurred on Tuesday at around 01:00 local time /01:00 Greenwich Mean Time/.
“As a result of a coordinated rescue operation, firefighters freed 25 wounded, including 23 adults and two children. Unfortunately, 15 people died,” says the department’s statement. –0–
