Washington, June 2 /Xin Hua/ — U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday appointed William Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as acting director of National Intelligence.
D. Trump noted on the social network Truth Social that U. Pulte “has deep experience in managing the most sensitive issues in America — security and market reliability.”
The American president added that during the tenure of the Director of National Intelligence U. Pulte, he also held the position of Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as well as Chairman of the boards of the mortgage companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
