Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Political Technologies of GUU Vladimir Volov joined the new Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which will operate from 2026 to 2029.
The formation of the composition was carried out taking into account the recommendations of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of civil society and human rights, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, and public structures.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia, Police General Vladimir Kolokoltsev, spoke at the first meeting of the Council in its new composition and noted the authority, professionalism, and engagement of its members.
“You are leaders of public opinion, whose recommendations people listen to and follow. I believe that the Council will contribute to strengthening the cohesion of our multinational people. I am confident that the patriotic projects implemented by the Council will facilitate the formation among young people of proper values, responsibility for the fate of the Motherland, and readiness to help those who defend its interests,” said Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
After the solemn speech, the minister personally presented certificates to the members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia who had gathered.
It was noted at the meeting that the new composition of the Council begins its work in the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, when destructive forces do not cease attempts to spread radical ideas, and the organization of systematic and purposeful preventive measures acquires special importance.
