On International Children’s Day, the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko and the Deputy Chairman of the Government Dmitry Chernyshenko participated in the V International Festival of Childhood and Youth “Festival ‘Movement First'”.

They awarded the winners of the II All-Russian Prize “Conversations about Important Things.” Sergey Kiriyenko congratulated the winners in the nomination “Best Interview of the Year” according to the pedagogical community. He presented the award to the ambulance brigade of the 17th station of the city of Moscow – feldshers Tatyana Bogdanova and Dmitry Tarasov, as well as to the driver Valery Solomenny.

“During the project ‘Conversations about the Important,’ which appeared four years ago by the instruction of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, we talk about what we live for, what we dream about, what we strive for, and what largely determines the life of each of us. Convictions are passed from person to person, so I want to express my gratitude to all the teachers who prepare for these lessons, putting a piece of their soul, their heart into it, as well as to the experts who are ready to come to the children, share their experience and reveal an inner part of their soul,” said Sergey Kirienko.

Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated the winner in the category “Best Interview of the Year” according to parents. The award was received by Hero of Russia Lyudmila Bolilaya.

“Parents, as we know, never wish anything bad for their children – they love them, sometimes unconditionally, but certainly selflessly. So, the fact that they mark the importance of the ‘Conversations about Important Things’ project with such a colossal research volume – 80% – speaks of the incredible relevance of the topic for our children and grandchildren. The nomination ‘Interview’ is always about the truth. And when every week 20 million of our students, almost 700 thousand teachers, and mentors conduct lessons about important things – this gives an incredible effect. The significance of each such interview is difficult to overestimate,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented the award in the category “Best lesson from partners.” “We are convinced that ‘Conversations about the Important’ are in demand and indispensable. The project arouses great interest and enjoys wide support from all participants in the educational process. It is also important that the students can participate in preparing materials for the lessons, suggest topics for discussion, and choose people they would like to talk to the teachers about,” he noted.

The results of voting among schoolchildren and students in the nomination “Best Interview of the Year” were announced by the Hero of Russia, a graduate of the presidential personnel program “Time of Heroes”, chairman of the board of the “Pervy” Movement, Artur Orlov. The absolute leader was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Nina Demesheva.

Also, as part of the festival, Dmitry Chernyshenko, together with the head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov, commented on the performances of the teams – participants of the debates dedicated to the directions of the Children’s Program of the International Youth Festival – 2026. The discussion involved 75 young people, as well as representatives of children’s and youth organizations from more than 20 countries.

“Friends, we are all absolutely different. We have different histories of the creation of our states, histories of our peoples. But it is very important that we have, judging by everything, common values and a common attitude towards what is happening. We all want a fair, bright, safe future for ourselves and our children. The future is in your hands. Here, in Russia, President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin sets the main task of creating conditions for our children so that they can realize their opportunities and talents. We will be very glad if you can get acquainted with what we are doing, appreciate it – maybe apply it yourselves and teach us something.””We are ready to learn, to adopt all the best, and to share the very best that we have,” noted the deputy prime minister.

Artur Orlov emphasized the importance that it is precisely children and teenagers who themselves propose ideas and openly speak about how they see the Children’s Program of the International Youth Festival – 2026: “Today at the festival ‘Movement First’ participants and representatives of youth organizations from more than 20 countries discuss topics that concern young people around the world: the role of artificial intelligence, safety in the digital environment, media, sports, science, creativity, and others.During the debates, the guys showed a very mature and responsible perspective: technologies should help a person learn, create, and develop, but should not replace live communication, independent thinking, and personal responsibility. Our task is to listen to children, support their initiatives, and create comfortable conditions for the realization of ideas.

In addition, Dmitry Chernyshenko evaluated the exposition of the “Movement of the First” festival. Thus, at the “Rosatom” booth, the Vice Prime Minister was presented with a model of a nuclear power plant device and the electric car “Atom”. In the House of Peoples of Russia, a quest dedicated to traditional spiritual and moral values was held. At the VK company booth, the Deputy Chairman of the Government took part in the discussion of technological solutions. The Deputy Chairman of the Board of “Movement First” Nikita Nagorny presented to Dmitry Chernyshenko an exhibition of the sports town, including the physical fitness and health society “Dynamo”, the CSKA football club, SMP Racing, and the Drone Racing Federation.

This involves holding olympiads and grant competitions, creating educational infrastructure, developing volunteering and student tourism, and much more.
