Bogotá, June 1 /Xin Hua/ — Four people died on Monday in Colombia as a result of a light aircraft crash during takeoff. This was reported by the national aviation incident investigation authority.
The Cessna 206 aircraft with registration number HK 2521 was operated by the Colombian airline Aerolineas Llaneras Arall Ltda. and was flying from the city of Villavicencio, the administrative center of the Meta department in the central part of the country, to the city of La Macarena.
After the incident, the management activated the emergency response protocol and sent an investigative team to the scene. Specialists are to collect technical evidence and witness testimonies to establish the cause of the crash. –0–
