The team of the company “Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz” took 1st place in the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship League of Young Specialists. In the final of the Main season of the championship, dedicated to the application of end-to-end technologies and ESG strategies, 14 teams competed.
Young oil workers have proposed their own neural network solutions that allow the equipment condition at the field to be assessed in advance and help design new wells in areas with complex geological structures. The development is entirely based on independent domestic software, which guarantees technological sovereignty. The digital solution is patented and has already passed the testing stage at the enterprise, the launch of a pilot project at the Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz field is planned for 2028-2029.The planned economic effect from the implementation will amount to more than 280 million rubles per year.
Another team from the enterprise took 3rd place in the championship final, presenting a project on the efficient use of associated petroleum gas. Engineers proposed converting the transport and equipment of the fields to gas fuel using compact Micro-CNG units. This is a domestic technology that ensures cooling and condensation of natural gas at a temperature of -162 degrees Celsius. In addition, part of the gas is proposed to be processed into synthetic oil to be added to commercial oil and fed into the main pipeline.
Training highly professional specialists in the oil and gas industry and working with young specialists are important directions of the Company’s personnel policy. To develop scientific and technical potential and engage youth in innovative activities, Rosneft annually holds scientific and technical conferences for young specialists, based on the results of which the best projects are recommended for implementation in production.
