Beijing, June 1 /Xinhua/ — In 2025, the Chinese prosecution authorities accepted for consideration cases involving 91,573 juvenile suspects in the commission of crimes, which is 9.8 percent less than in 2024, according to the White Paper published on Monday by the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP) of China.
This is the first decrease in several years.
The number of minors who were charged in 2025 amounted to 55,814, which is 1.9% less compared to the previous year, the UNP reported. -0-
