Beijing, June 1 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC requires that the structures responsible for the protection of minors in the country organize the provision of at least one specialized service, such as support in the field of mental health and assistance to children with autism, based on local needs and resource potential, according to a circular distributed by the department on Sunday.

They, according to the document, must update the data on children under temporary guardianship, as well as on the support provided to minors in difficult situations, by the end of October, but not on organizations engaged in this.

In addition, civil administration bodies in all regions are obliged to conduct inspections aimed at identifying problems and shortcomings in the security management system of organizations involved in the protection of minors. This specifically concerns fire safety, food safety, the reliability of buildings, and electricity supply.
