In total, there are 2.1 thousand main structures, filtration and pumping stations in the region — 59% of this quantity requires modernization, the length of heat and water supply, and drainage networks is 6.4 thousand km, of which 38% require replacement,” added Marat Khusnullin.

He emphasized that the provision of engineering infrastructure is also considered from the perspective of the future development of tourism.

“Tourism is a niche that the Zaporizhzhia region must occupy and ensure its maximum high level. We discussed how the master plans are proceeding, including the coastal zone, step by step progressing towards the expansion of the ‘Novorossiya’ route, currently, from Mariupol to Berdyansk, the arrangement of the main road section is underway,” concluded the Deputy Prime Minister.
