By the order of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers continues work on the reduction of emergency housing, paying special attention to the regions affected by major natural disasters. Over 870 million rubles will be allocated to the Kamchatka Krai for measures to resettle citizens from houses damaged as a result of the earthquake in July 2025. This order was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.
Funds are being allocated from the Cabinet of Ministers’ reserve fund and will allow for the resettlement of four apartment residential buildings that have been declared emergency. This concerns the relocation of 400 people from the emergency housing stock with an area of 7.4 thousand square meters in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The decision adopted by Mikhail Mishustin was announced onAt the Government meeting on May 28.
“I ask the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services and the Ministry of Finance to promptly transfer the allocated funds to the region so that the authorities can complete all the necessary work in the interests of the residents,” noted the head of the Cabinet.
