Washington, May 29 /Xinhua/ — The US Central Command /CENTCOM/ denied the reports by the SMI that on Thursday Iranian forces shot down an American drone.
“Not a single American aircraft was shot down. All American air assets are in place,” the CENTCOM statement on social media X says.
Iranian media reported that on Thursday evening in the Bushehr province in southern Iran, air defense systems were activated, destroying an “intruding” American drone.
The Tasnim news agency, citing a military source, reported that Iranian air defense systems shot down a drone in the sky over Bushehr province. –0–
