Top news of the day at the UN and worldwide: In the past three days, over 240 civilians in Ukraine have been affected as a result of military actions, Israel is intensifying strikes on Lebanon, the Secretary-General presented a report on UN reform, and new temperature records are forecast.

The UN press service, referring to local authorities, reports that more than 240 civilians, including children, have been killed or wounded across Ukraine over the past three days as a result of military actions and shelling. The strikes also caused damage to schools, energy facilities, and agricultural assets. The most severe losses have been recorded in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Odessa regions.
