Moscow, May 28 /Xin Hua/ — A one-day immersive exhibition, where guests could “revive” paintings and art objects with the help of artificial intelligence, took place on Wednesday in Moscow. The event under the motto “Bring Emotions to Life. Create Masterpieces” combined Rococo, Russian Modern, contemporary installations, and artificial intelligence technologies.
The evening took place in the ceremonial hall of the Saltykov-Cherkassky historic estate, where each room was turned into a separate exhibition. Guests moved between installations, interacted with art objects from different eras, and became co-authors of the ongoing process. The space combined classical art and modern technologies into a unified immersive experience.
At the exhibition, the presentation of the new Honor 600 smartphone series by the Chinese company Honor took place. Guests were able to test the new devices and personally try out the “Photo to Video 2.0” function — to “bring to life” paintings and art objects right in the hall of the estate. The technology, using artificial intelligence, turns an ordinary photo into a short video: it is enough to photograph any object, and it will come to life. The company provided ready-made templates — from portrait animations to dances and cinematic effects.
“It’s a magical feeling that appears in your hands. It’s really cool,” noted a visitor to the exhibition.
Representatives of the media, bloggers, and employees of the company Honor were present at the event.
