More than 2.5 million capital city schoolchildren and teachers have turned to the digital resources of the project “Moscow Electronic School“(“MES”) for preparing for the Unified State Exam (USE) in this academic year. Most often, students watched video analyses of tasks in Russian language and profile mathematics, and also used services with tests, online courses, and recommendations from teachers. About this reportedAnastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

“We strive to give each graduate not just a set of materials, but an individual preparation route for the exam: from diagnosing gaps to practice. In “MESH” there is a whole ecosystem of services for this. You can watch a video analysis of a complex problem, take a test with auto-checking and immediately see your weak spots, take an online course or use the AI tutor. It explains examination tasks in a dialogue format, analyzes every step of the solution, and adjusts to the student’s level. This format allows the students not just to repeat the material, but to understand the logic of completing the task and, more importantly, to see their own progress. This academic year, pupils and teachers in the capital have accessed the “MESH” resources for preparing for the Unified State Exam more than 2.5 million times. Video analyses of tasks alone have been viewed over 1.7 million times,” said Anastasia Rakova.

Most in-demand services

The most in-demand video analysis for the Russian language was task No. 27 — an essay; for advanced mathematics — problem No. 5 on probability theory; for physics — task No. 1 on kinematics; for computer science — task No. 11 on calculating the volume of a message; for social studies — task No. 1 on the correlation of concepts.

The MESh library also features online courses for graduates’ self-preparation for the USE exam. A total of more than 320 video materials are available in the “Recommended” collection for 11 school subjects — from Russian language and mathematics to chemistry and biology. They help students familiarize themselves with the exam structure, analyze typical tasks and common mistakes.

Moreover, during this academic year, high school students turned to the “Exams” service in the “MESh” electronic diary over 350 thousand times. Here, nearly 440 annually updated video analyses of USE tasks, about 1,600 tests with automatic checking, as well as recommendations for filling out forms, tips for time management during the exam, and videos with psychologists’ recommendations on stress management and memory development are available.

The “Repetitor AI” service, which helps prepare for the USE in computer science, basic and specialized mathematics, has been used by more than 10,000 people. Thanks to the tool, graduates can receive a detailed explanation and step-by-step analysis of the solution to the exam problems in a dialogue format.

Unified State Exam

The Unified State Exam is conducted in three stages — early, main, and additional. The early exam period ended on April 20, the main stage will begin on June 1 and will last until July 9. The additional period of the USE will take place from September 4 to 25.

As Sergey Sobyanin previously reported, the Unified State Exam (USE) will be taken this year by more than 93 thousand people, of which over 72 thousand are graduates of Moscow’s 11th-grade schools.class. The most popular subjects chosen by eleventh graders were Social Studies (38 percent), English (27 percent), and Computer Science (25 percent).

Moscow for the second year in a row remains the only region where a student received maximum results in four subjects on the Unified State Exam. In total, more than 90 thousand Muscovites took the USE in 2025. A score of 100 points in one subject was achieved by 1,651 residents of the capital, 200 received it in two exams — 104, and 300 in three disciplines — four. The number of top scorers in computer science increased sixfold, in chemistry it doubled, and in biology it increased by 1.2 times.

“Moscow Electronic School” — a joint project of the capital’s departmentseducation and scienceиInformation technologies. It appeared in 2016. Today, more than 1.2 million students, over 1.8 million parents, and about 70 thousand teachers use the unified digital educational platform. Among the main services of “MESH” are a library of study materials, electronic diaries and journals, “Moskvyonok”, “Student Portfolio” and “Olympiads.”
