The Government Commission for Improving the Efficiency of Using Federal Property and Developing Territories has approved the transfer of an additional 28 hectares of land plots and buildings and structures with an area of about 37.3 thousand square meters to the management of “DOM.RF” in 16 regions of the country. This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company Marat Khusnullin.
“The government continues to work on the effective management of federal property and its involvement in economic turnover. Under current conditions, this is an additional resource for the regional economy and the creation of a comfortable environment for people. Thus, the board of directors decided to transfer an additional 28 hectares of land plots and over 37 thousand square meters of real estate objects to the management of “DOM.RF”. These assets will be put up for open auction, thanks to which market participants will be able to obtain sites for housing construction, creation of commercial facilities, social and business spaces.”Among the lots to be sold at auction are four cultural heritage objects. Investors will be able to use concessional financing within the framework of the presidential program for their restoration,
The specified monuments of history and architecture, added by the deputy prime minister, are located in the Altai and Perm regions, the Republic of Mordovia, and the Lipetsk region. These are residential houses and premises, industrial and agricultural structures, built in the mid-19th to early 20th centuries.
“DOM.RF conducts regular work to involve the unused federal property turnover practically across the entire territory of the country. This activity contributes to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the creation of a comfortable urban environment, the acceleration of housing construction rates, helps to return lost functions to buildings and entire architectural ensembles, and creates new points of attraction in the regions,” noted Denis Filippov, Deputy General Director of DOM.RF.
Also, 4.7 hectares of land in the Voronezh, Kostroma, and Kursk regions are transferred to the management of “DOM.RF”, on which a total of 65 thousand square meters of housing can be built. In addition, the company will provide 2.1 hectares in Obninsk to the government of the Kaluga region for the creation of a park, and 2.3 hectares in the Kstovsky district to the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the placement of social infrastructure facilities.
