Yerevan, May 25 /Sin Hua/ — The Communicating Astronomy with the Public Conference (CAP) of the International Astronomical Union began work on Monday in the capital of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory named after V. A. Ambartsumian.
85 specialists from 34 countries arrived for the event in Yerevan. Taking into account those participating remotely, 213 people from 56 countries are taking part in the conference.
Among the discussed topics are scientific journalism, popularization of astronomy using artificial intelligence, specially developed programs, and other digital tools.
