Tashkent, May 25 /Xin Hua/ — The Football Association of Uzbekistan on Sunday announced an extended roster of 30 players for the men’s national team to participate in the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will be the country’s debut in the tournament.
According to the regulations, the final roster of each team is limited to 26 players. As previously explained by the first vice-president of the association Ravshan Irmatov, an additional four players are included as a reserve group in case of possible injuries.
At the 2026 World Cup, Uzbekistan will compete in Group K along with the teams of Colombia, Portugal, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. –0–
