Enlighteners, lecturers, educators, authors, and teams who help people understand science, history, and social life can once again declare themselves at the federal level. The Russian society “Znanie” has opened applications for the sixth season. Knowledge. Prize — one of the country’s key awards in the field of education.
The award unites those who can speak about important matters clearly and accurately. Since 2021, it has been recognizing people and projects that make knowledge accessible, support interest in education, and develop educational activities in Russia and beyond. Its goal is to increase the significance of educational work and support those who help disseminate reliable knowledge. The scale of the project is growing: in 2025, 18,730 applications were received from all regions of Russia and 40 countries, and more than 900 experts and members of the Honorary Jury were involved in evaluating the works.
In the new season, participants will be able to submit applications in 16 nominations. Among them is the nomination “For Contribution to the Strengthening of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia,” dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Special attention is paid to lecturers: for them, a nomination named after Sergey Ivanovich Vavilov, the first chairman of the Board of the All-Union Society for the Dissemination of Political and Scientific Knowledge, has been established. It is intended to support those who continue the traditions of national enlightenment and develops lecturing skills.
Applications are open until September 2026 for official website Knowledge.Award. The Russian society “Znanie” also invites experts to join the evaluation of competition works and to participate in the development of the educational movement.
